Ruth was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in History from Birkbeck College, University of London in 2015. She went on to obtain a Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law (London, Moorgate) in 2016 and has since undertaken the Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Law at the University of Law (Guildford)
Prior to joining Josiah-Lake Gardiner as a Paralegal in 2020, Ruth gained previous experience assisting Heads of Departments and fee earners at another London firm on various matters including civil disputes, employment settlements, immigration, probate, banking and corporate commercial cases.
Ruth’s composure, tenacity and public speaking skills propelled her to take top prize at an annual mock trial competition arranged by the firm at which she was then working in 2017.
Ruth is a YRes member of Resolution, InterLaw Diversity Forum and the Black Solicitors Network.
